Cassi Kail is the Rabbi of Temple Emanu-El of Utica, NY. She was ordained from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) in 2011, where she also received a Masters Degree in Hebrew Literature. She has been blessed to serve as board member for the Jewish Community Center of Utica, and the Interfaith Coalition of Greater Utica. Prior to joining the Temple Emanu-El community in the summer of 2011, Rabbi Kail co-founded a minyan for 20s and 30s called “The Wandering Jews of Astoria,” and was an organizer of the HUC-JIR soup kitchen. In her free time she loves to hike, read, play guitar and bake.
Rabbi Cassi lives in New Hartford, NY with her husband Josh, and her children, Noam and Talia.
